Walking and jogging groups meet at the Community Park in the Kimtu parking lot (map) for a short walk or jog on the trails every Wednesday morning at 9:30. These exercise groups are designed for people of all ability levels, and all are welcome to participate.
Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month is dedicated to our Walking Club, which meets for a relaxed and scenic 1 mile walk – a great introduction for those who are beginning walkers. This is a great opportunity to view the various bird and wildlife activity within the park.
The Jogging Club offers a more rigorous workout, and is held every 2nd and 4th Wednesday morning. The run typically proceeds along a beautiful and picturesque 2 mile trail through the interior of the park. This workout is ideal for beginning or advanced runners and can be tailored to each individual’s abilities.
